Can't find "low wall" from Steam screenshot in Samurai pack?

  1. Hi guys. I got the Samurai pack in the Steam sale, and in one of the screenshots from Steam, there is a low wall on one of the platform floor tiles as in the below image:

Now, I imagine that this wall divide (on the raised wooden platform) would stop the player walking from the wood onto the stone floor which looks to be below the wood platform. Trouble is, I can't find the barrier anywhere in the tile set :\ I'm sure I'm just being thick, but can anyone help at all? Thanks :D
  2. I would imagine it is just part of the floor. Is there a floor like that?
  3. I thought that too, and thought I had found it. Here's a screen grab from a map I threw together to illustrate the problem. As you can see the floor is the same style tile, but if you move from the wooden floor to the stone beneath it, you can simply walk onto it, whereas there should (ideally) be a blockade like in the Steam screenshot in my earlier post

  4. Ah, that's interesting. I don't have the pack so I can't check, but it could be an edited-in wall from the RTP. I'll buy at some point and letcha know!
  5. Ah well, thanks for trying! If you did want the Samurai pack, I'd advise getting it on Steam whilst its on summer sale for ~75% off in the daily deal today.
  6. If you're being thick then so am I: I can't see it on mine either. My floor looks like your screenshot when I use the tiles, there's no wall there.
  7. Tile A5, third row, first from the left.

All the static "low" tiles are in the A5. They're made especially for floors rather than the walls.

Unfortunately that is not the same - I made the same mistake when I first checked.
That tile produces the floor like in the example of post #3, it's missing the small frame border from the original post picture.
  9. TL;DR: That tile is an edit from the maker of the screenshot and not in the Samurai Set.

The frame border I'm pretyt use is B-E tile from Mack, not the Samurai set.
(Also isn't that the samples form my old project I gave Nessy? Rofl I totally forgot, I'll check).

Edit: Yep, that's my own tile edit. Woops.

It's not in the samurai set, it's under Mack's japanese tiles. (he did a few back in the day)
It seems his old blog has changed/not around so here you go:

They're Mack tiles so credit him, obviously. And as all Mack tiles, free for comercial.
  10. Thanks for the help Indrah! Will have to check that out and set something similar up :)
  11. Promotional shots tend to show stuff the packs don't actually contain, that's normal here.

    Those tiles are rather nice.

We will definitely make use of some of that stuff. :)
