Greetings! Looks like my former account was deleted due to inactivity, so here I am again. :) The last Maker I used was like, XP. So needless to say it's time for an upgrade! I was trying to download the Ace Lite, but when I go to extract the files, it asks me to put in disk 1 to continue. And... well... there are no disks. I tried searching for 'disk' threads here but didn't come up with anything, and I didn't see anything on the Ace Lite page, so I'm a bit confused. What am I missing? Thanks in advance for your help!

How did you go to "extract files"? What you should get from the download is an executable that just needs to be started, no need for manual extraction...

When I downloaded, it downloaded as a zip. So it took me to my zip program, and when I extracted and tried to use the setup program, that was the error I got. :(
EDIT: I deleted, redownloaded, and tried again... and this time no error message. Go figure. In any case, thank you! And this can be closed. :) -
yes, my mistake - the full Ace comes as a setup file, Lite comes as a zip.
However, if the setup from the zip doesn't find its data, then either there was a problem with the download, or a problem with the extraction.
It might be that you tried to start the setup from inside the zip without extracting it - if I remember correctly, several older windows version had problems with the paths when doing that. You need to extract the zip(right-click and extract all, not doubleclick it) in this case
