Can you scale a tile and make it bigger?

  1. The street tile is too skinny. Can I make it wider?
  2. Yes you can, but simply scaling it larger will probably make it look bad. Which street tile is it that is too skinny? Can you post a screenshot of the tile set?
  3. Unless it is to make VX Ace's tiles compatible with MV, I don't get why you would want to do that. Scaling up doesn't make it higher resolution.

It's part of the defualt tilesets. World C. 20180910_235122.jpg
  5. Okay, that's kind of what I was thinking you were talking about. Those are intended to be skinny, as they are for a world map, where things are supposed to be on a smaller scale. I'm assuming you want roads for regular maps. If you change the tileset to SF Outside, there are tiles you can use to build roads. The A tab has pavement tiles and the B tab has white lines that can be placed over those to create a road. The white lines are hard to see, they make look like empty tiles, but if you click on them and place them on the map over an A tile, you can see them.
