Can I use Enterbrain resources commercially?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some robot NPCs and wherever I go I run into those guys - http://www.rpgmakervx.net/index.php?showtopic=5576&st=0&start=0 ; 2nd Picture From the top.

I'm told that all I have to do is credit Enterbrain and this thread is confiriming it - http://www.rpgmakervxace.net/topic/256-enterbrain-resources/ .

At the same time it's from 2011 so a lot might've changed and I don't want to break any rules. Is it still the case?

It depends on where the source originated, and in this case you might need to own VX, not only VXA, to use them.


Any RTP and any RTP-Edits can be used (no matter if commercial or not) under the condition that you own both the RM it came from and the RM you make your game with. Since the linked topic is from 2008, I assume that those are RTP VX Edits, and according to your profile you're working with Ace.


You might want to wait for confirmation of someone who can recognize the source of the edits, but I think you'll have to own both VX and VX Ace to be able to use them commercially.

Tsukuru Blog resources can be used in any RPG Maker. GrandmaDeb has provided the link so you can look to see which ones came from the blog. For the others, it'd be easy enough to grab the RTP for both makers and see which one contains them.
