For those who don't obsessively read the Status updates I'll repost it here since it was worded a little more clearly.
Could you be clearer about what your asking? Do you want to upload it here or are you asking if it's alright to link to a zip download? I do know that you'll need at least an example image when making the thread in the resources section.supertristan00 said:is it possible to upload custom animations in a zipped folder in to the resource forum? -
I"m wondering if it would work, and is it allowed to upload the actual animations as an attachment to a post. in the resources forum? Would this be allowed. Would this even be possible. Would people want this? That is as clear as I can get.

I guess I'm a little confused why you think it wouldn't be allowed. As long as it follows the rules it should be fine. I don't know about the attachment though, not my area of expertise. You could always just try and see if it works.

Well Normally I understand is super engrish!
I think your think Animation is not considered like ressource but is not the true animation are the ressource who are the most rare so go for it....this kind of ressource is really search in the comunauty because not to much people create animation -
Question. Animation as in "animation graphics"?
Or Animation as in "that thing you make inside the database"? -
the animations you create inside the database.
@nio kasgami I can't really understand what you are saying. -
Ooooooh! Okay. I'm going to let someone else who knows the program better answer that one but if it's not about the graphics it seems like something you'd find in the tutorials section.

The thing about animations is that they aren't one picture, like a sprite. They are multi-frame. That means, you take lots of pics and overlap them and run them at different speeds, and animate them. All other Graphical resources are a just a single page. Some people post resources to make your own animations, but I want to post multi frame, finished product, animations. Does this hopefully make things clearer?

Animations -as a picture- are a resource, yes. They can be posted in Resource Showcase. But please make it easier on users and format them correctly for use in RPG Maker. :)
Animations that are set up in the database (such as making a fire spell) would probably go in Tutorials. Though a tutorial would need to be written along it that shows people how to achieve the same effect. -
ok. Would it be possible to upload the animations (made in the database) data to a zipped folder and upload them as resources?
-
Animation resource would be the picture file only.
Any set-up and instruction are a tutorial, not a resource. :) -
ok, thanks for your help.
