Today Bungie has released Destiny for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, and PS4. I was foruntate enough to participate in the Destiny Beta for the Xbox 360 and loved it. The multiplayer was phenominal, graphics and level design were flawless. The game was so rich in content it blew me away but it's the cooperative campaign that made me really fall in love with Destiny. I loved being able to play multiplayer on other planets and moons as well as leveling up and finding unique gear for my characters in the campaign.
Won't be playing Destiny today though as I'm buying it for the Xbox One when the Masterchief Collection comes out. For now I will rent Destiny for the Xbox 360. Is anyone else out there on this forum into Destiny? If so, what did you like about the experience and did you participate in the open beta?

I'll be picking up the xbox one version of Destiny later today. I should let you know, Bungie has a program in which you can buy the last-gen version of the game, and then get the next-gen version for free later on. That means you can buy the 360 version and get the xbone version for free later. Make sure you know what you're doing though, I don't know the full details on it.
My favorite part of the beta was probably the Crucible. I've always been big on fps multiplayers, and it was fun as hell. I haven't had much experience with the coop aspect of the campaign, perhaps when you get it for xbone you can add me ;D -
I think Destiny is extremely overrated. I will probably play it eventually, but it looked extremely boring.

I thought the same when I first saw it, and when I played it during the alpha. The alpha was boring and uninspired. The beta however introduced more of the campaign and got me hooked immediately. RPG aspects with the same flavor as Halo and Mass Effect was all I needed.

Destiny is a lot more entertaining when you play with a group of friends as opposed to watching a demo on the internet or tv. I can't think of anything that was boring in Destiny; but hey, I actually played the game.I think Destiny is extremely overrated. I will probably play it eventually, but it looked extremely boring.

I really enjoyed the beta, so I'll for sure be buying it. I guess my favorite part of the game is the character customization and Crucible. I haven't gotten next gen yet so I'm not sure what console I'll be picking it up for. Leaning towards PS3/4 though.
