  1. Hi discovered few days ago this very interesting game. It's ぶきあつめ / Bukiatsume, made by kagaya (from Japan)
The great feature of this game is to break the fourth wall.
It's an hilarius game, that remember me the game with Deadpool.

in fact, when you play the game, you can use EVERYTHING like a weapon.
Not only a sword or a staff... but you can take a jar... a tree... a lake!
And use them to hit the enemies.

it's incredible. I don't know how the author made it... but it's great!
it's possible to play it online (to take a first look)

it's only in japanese (saddly), I hope to see it also in english, soon :(
  2. Is this thread to discuss the design of such a mechanic, or are you just letting us know about the game?
  3. It's kinda funny

No, I loved the mechanic of this game. About the plot or the characters, etc. I can't talk. Also because it's in Japanese... and I don't know it.

I loved the script made by the author to take every object on the map as weapon to use. I admired this technique. I don't know if it's a script or just the author's skills

(p.s. if it should be a script... what is it? did you know it?)
  5. If this is not to discuss the design of the mechanics, then it doesn't belong in 'Game Mechanics Design'.
