  1. Hello, I didnt find the section where I can ask this, so I post it here.

Some weeks ago I bought the Rural Farm Tiles from Steam, but I havent touched them and forgot about it.

So I bought them again on the RPG Maker Web Site. Now I was in the RPG Maker directory of Steam, and have seen, that I already have them.

My question is, if I can give the license from RPG Maker Web to some other person, and keep the steam license.

If it is possible, how exactly can I accomplish this?

    Thanks for all answers
  2. Yes you can. During the humble bundle sales, people were just posting in the status update saying they had <whatever item> for giveaway on Steam. They didn't last long :)

Might be easier to gift the Steam one. You can still use the RPG Maker Web site one in your Steam Ace.
  3. How can I give away something from steam, when its connected to my account?

Because of this I thought it would be easier to give away the web version.

You don't - you need to give away the steam key before connecting it to your account.
The humble page has an option to gift the steam key as long as you don't claim it for your account - afterwards steam is not supposed to allow transfer of licences.

If you already have it connected to your account, and your other version is the web version from this site's shop, then send a support ticket containing proof of both purchases, and usually the Degica Staff can offer you a solution - might take one or two weeks to sort through everything however, especially because the last several sale actions delayed everything at Degica.
  5. Yeah that was a rhetorical question, I know that I cant give away my steam dlc when it is connected, .

I will send a support ticket, with the proof later, and wait for the staff to response. I dont care if I need to wait some weeks.

    Thanks for your answers.
  6. You can gift things on Steam, and since they already have the facility set up, it would be faster and require less intervention than doing it through the forum store - which has to be done manually by one person who already has a heap of other things on his plate.
  7. I can gift things if I have them in my Inventory, but the DLC is connected to my account, how else would it be possible for me to find the Graphics in my RPG Maker DLC Folder.

I think I had drunk too much some weeks ago, cause I couldnt remember that I have bought and connected it to my steam account, haha.
  8. You can import resources from ANY folder on your computer into your game. Either through the Resource Manager, or through the file system.
  9. I think im a bit confused now, I know that I can import ressources through file system or resource manager.

Ok, I try to explain it in more detail.

Last week I bought the tiles from the web store.

Today I was browsing through my steamapps/rpgmakervxace directory, then I opened the dlc folder, and in there where the rural farm tiles, I was confused, cause I didnt have imported the tiles from the web store yet, I just tried out the demo which comes with the tiles, but I didnt import anything.

So I was curious, opened steam, and looked what dlc is connected with my RPG Maker, and the rural tiles where indeed connected, Then I looked at my purchase history and saw this:

RPG Maker: Rural Farm Tiles Resource Pack   Steam-Shop

That means that I have two copies of the dlc, one I bought from the steam shop and one from the web store.
