1. Vollin is finally open. It’s not finished however. This makes Etonia almost complete. It’s just missing the hamlet of Poro now.

Patch note version 0.1.4 - Download

Host website updated.

1. Some bug fixes with early guild quests. All of bug fixes were related to quest reporting at the guild. (reward not properly giving out, switches not properly turning off...etc)
   
   
2. Guild quest “Investigate Tobas” added.
   
   
3. An outfield zone outside of Valura is being added. Since Valura is on Alcella island, it means new monsters and new type of loots. Currently, only Rhino has been added. Alcella island also features a goblin civilization, but that’s for later.
   
   
4. The guild healer, Paranta (female), is now a male named Neven. I changed the gender to even out male to female ratio. And he is now added to the guild. This now leaves only Gilbert to be added back.
   
   
5. I’ve added some lore to Eton grand library (the castle).
   
   
6. Gywnn’s home opened in Eton. There is some extra conversation when entering her home with her.
   

Patch note version 0.1.5 - Download

A fairly big update although, in reality, little user playable content is added overall. Rebuilding the game world with custom tileset has been a painful task.

The game world has 5 major cities, about 25 towns/villages, and about 5 hamlets. This doesn’t include dungeons, temples, and etc.

1. Corlo (A Cizna town) is being added. Corlo is a Ciznian guild town where the entire town is tied to operation of its guild. It’s often simply referred as Cizna guild. The guild is bigger and more diverse than Eton guild Maco is associated with. It has more unique members and such. It will take a long time to finish Cizna guild.
   
   
2. For now though, Orella has been added to Cizna guild.
   
   
3. Corlo being open also means two outfield zones were added. You can now go beyond the checkpoint at Vollin into Cizna territory. The zones are entirely empty at this point.
   
   
4. Story quest “PeaceMaker” gets completed with this update. Once this story quest is complete, Neven can be added to your party. (Healer finally, yay)
   
   
5. Ezona mountain pass has been reworked a bit. More variety in bandits (bandit archer added) and replaced its sprite with a new chibi style ones I am using for characters.
   
   
6. Alcella lion (monster) added to the island.
   

Patch note version 0.1.6 - Download

1. Cody added to Cizna guild. Whether he will be recruitable is undecided at this point. Regardless, his class is monk.
   
   
2. A haunted manor is added. It’s located somewhere between the temple of Affection and Vollin. It’s an instance for exp and loot. No quest is involved in this location, yet. The instance is not fully complete at the moment.
   
   
3. Guild quest “Healer in demand” added which, as a result, adds Annamaria, the fifth child of the Gignac and younger sister of Pierre. She has an interesting trait.
   

Patch note version 0.1.7 - Download

Restart is recommended due to some plug-in issues.

1. Maco 2.0 is added to the game. This is total redesign of her. 2.0 is less toon-ish but (probably) a little too cute. I didn’t mean this but it doesn’t always go the way I want in 3D or any other art form.
   
   
2. A slight change in food consumption system. If you have basic ration in your inventory, it will automatically consumed upon reaching food level of 250.
   
   
3. Numerous, minor, bugs were fixed. (Neven’s missing traits, no battleback during Tobas liberation, Baba’s missing bust images thus breaking the game, etc)
   
   
4. I somehow left Jack’s battle sprite incomplete. It is complete now.
   
   
5. A Baldarian port, Kyye, is now open but incomplete. Baldar continent is desert, so NPCs will have different wardrobe, meaning I have to make those which takes time. This port town will enable the first functional trading run in the next patch.
   

Patch note version 0.1.8 - Download

Bhavacakra gets its universal logo. I’ve been working on it for some time now. Why a universal logo? Because there are three Bhavacakra games actually and two are completed. For me, this has become a series that is following strict set of lore I’ve created.


Also a new title screen is added with Maco, Jasmine, Neven, and Pierre on a boat looking at Jordin port fortress of Hyur.

2. Port city Kyye is worked on further.
   
   
3. The first trade route is active. From Ryin to Kyye. For more info on trading, refer to this PDF.
   
   
4. Alcella port city, Fadin, is open with Grace Fadin as its regent. Grace has a long history with Fadin and she was actually a protagonist of another Bhavacakra game I’ve created. There will be a fair amount of quests from her later.
   
   
5. Maco’s sprite is updated with Maco 2.0.

Current status of the game.

Etonia (starting nation) is 80% done.
Alcella is 20% done.
Cizna is 5% done.
Jordin is 0%.
Baldar is 5%.
Off-world & dungeons is 5%.

1. Jasmine’s first personal quest “Jamine’s story” is added. (Requires friendship level 5)

1. Desert outfield zone is open along with a new type of mob (skeleton, undead). It’s outside of Kyye.
   
   
2. Ugi isle added. This is the first Jordin settlement.
   
   
3. Ugi mine is also added but it is work-in-progress. This is a mid-level dungeon consisted of 6 levels. The first level is implemented in this patch.
   
   
4. Guild quest “Expedition blues” added.
   
   
5. Small updates to unfinished zones and Valura has been worked on. The city is still not complete though.

1. Alca, the unofficial capital of Alcella is being added and is open. The city adds the scholar’s guild where you will find a lot of lore related quests. I struggled to get started on Alca, so this is a big step for me.
   
   
2. Herwig (unique NPC) added to the scholar’s guild.
   

Patch note version 0.2.3 - Download

Fishing village Inder is open which is the fourth and the last settlement on Alcella island. To connect Inder with Fadin and Fadin with Alca, three new outfield zones were added which are mostly empty at this point.

This actually completes Alcella island zones. I now just need to add NPCs, monsters, and contents.

This is actually a fairly large update in game world building.

1. Another unique NPC, Quinn, is added to Alca scholar’s guild. Along with Herwig, these two men will give out quests.

Four unique NPCs added in this patch. This is a large patch.

2. A unique NPC, Michael, added to Ryin tavern, replacing a placeholder NPC I had in his place. This is the same Michael from original Bhavacakra but, of course, 20 years younger.
   
   
3. Side quest “Cure Michael’s wife” added.
   
   
4. A dungeon “Mystic forest” is being added.
   
   
5. Another unique NPC, Martello, is added to Ezona shipwright. This one is for future contents.
   
   
6. Story quest “Akatoob” added.
   
   
7. Thorn (Assassin) added to Cizna guild. This is for future contents.
   
   
8. Xander (Knight) added to Cizna guild. This is also for future contents.

A lot of BGM are missing at this point. This is due to funding (lack of) issue. Missing BGMs will eventually added.

Additionally, I will be removing the legacy game download link once the game hits 0.3. This remake is just much better in all aspects.

Patch note version 0.3.0 - Download

Current status of the game.

Etonia (starting nation) is 90% done.
Alcella is 70% done.
Cizna is 10% done.
Jordin is 5%.
Baldar is 5%.
Off-world & dungeons is 10%.

Content is about 6 hours of game play with about 34 quests available at the moment.
There are currently 12 available companions you can choose from, each with their own personalities and abilities. There will be more.

1. A new title screen CG is added with new Maco.
   
   
2. Maco has been redesigned again. This is the third iteration of her. Hopefully, this is the final one.
   
   
3. Water dungeon completed which includes the temple of water.
   
   
4. Side quest “Understanding the world 2” is added.
   
   
5. This update adds two zone bosses in Shroom elder and King crab. Each boss requires different strategies to defeat.

Patch note version 0.3.1 - Download

Just map updates in this patch. Big one though.

1. Mining town, Bo, has been added. This is a Jordin town.
   
   
2. The capital of Cizna, Cyro, is open but not complete. It is mostly done though. Fine touch is required to make it look prettier. The addition of this city marks a big step into completing Cizna because all other cities in Cizna are far smaller than Cyro.
   

Patch note version 0.3.2

1. I am starting to add tactics scrolls now. Those illustrate monster strong/weak points with pictures. I am attaching an example now in the patch note. They can be either purchased or could be dropped (very low chance). These scrolls can be found at libraries and Alca scholar’s guild. For now, there is only one scroll.
   
   
2. I am implementing “knocking at door” feature. Normally, in RPG, you just barge into others’ home. This is considered norm in all RPGs I know of. Well, not in this game. Maco will now knock instead of just barging in.
   
   
3. Guild quest “Rats & rats” added.
   
   
4. Side quest “A big octopus” added.
   

Patch note version 0.3.3

New features are being added.

Gathering skills are being added. Lumberjacking and mining are the ones on the list. This basically introduces grind.

Lumberjacking and mining will level up based on frequency of skills being used.


This features gives purposes to certain settlements like Dolle, Bo, and Ugi isle. More skills will be added later. With those two gathering skills, woodcrafting and blacksmithing are being added.


1. Side quest “Logs for start” added to Dolle. This quest enables lumberjacking.

2. Guild quest “Iron supply” added. This enables mining.

3. Side quest “Broken cart” added.

Patch note version 0.3.4

This is mostly a map update patch. Numerous outfield zones were added to expand the game world.

This patch also fixes a lot of little mistakes. It’s too many and minor to list’em all. These are basically bug fixes.

1. Benja, Cizna guild master has been added. With him added, you can now progress further into the story.

I am preparing to put this game on Steam. Like my other games, it will be free to play.
The game also changes its name to Bhavacakra Maco from Bhavacakra Adventures.

1. Two tactics scrolls added: Ogre & Ghost

3. Guild quest “Too close for comfort” added.

4. More map updates.

5. Cizna port tavern “Fion” added. This is where you can take a ferry to Bella on Yn island. Bella is not accessible yet.
