  1. Ladies and Gentlemen:

I've lurked around the forums for about 18 months but never bothered to get involved. With the advent of MV, which I just picked up on Steam the other night, I thought I might try to become more involved and even contribute a little. Hence, this topic.

    Without further ado, things!

    Credits & Terms of Usage!

    • You must have purchased, or otherwise legally own, an RPG Maker MV license.
    • You must credit EnterBrain, Inc. and Kadokawa as appropriate.
    • You must credit any additional persons indicated for a particular resource.
    • Please do not credit me -- I'm just some guy on the internet.
    Better Skeletons!

The skeleton sprite that is included with RPG Maker MV is a little scary and a little cute. It might not be what game designers are looking for when they search for a skeleton. I've make some simple edits to clean it up a bit.

    • Removed the necklace and headdress.
    • Picked some new colors for the loincloth that made more sense for undead critters than pink.
    • The basic skull face looked a little to zen for me, so I gave it a slight snarl by furrowing the brow and adjusting the teeth.
    • Bonus: An alternate version with nice red glowies in the eye sockets .

    Horny Better Skeletons!

These skeletons have wicked black horns, borrowed from the minotaur-looking guy on the monsters sheet.

    Animated Specimen Tanks

I needed some specimen tanks for a map I was working on... so I created some using the metal industrial-looking column from the SF_Inside and SF_Outside tilesets.

    • Fourteen colors: primary, secondary, tertiary, black, and white.
    • Transparent and opaque fluids.
    • Bonus: empty specimen tank and without glass.

    Animated Water Autotile Edits
I was working on a small map using the snow tiles from the Outside tileset. I came to a certain place where I needed the river to cascade over a cliff and continue at the bottom. Unfortunately, the the water + snow autotile in Outside-A1 appears to be frozen, or at least it differs enough in color that it did not look quite right to me butted up against the waterfall cliff tiles. I was able to crop out the water from the water + grass autotile in Outside-A1 and the stony embankment from the wwamp autotile in Outside-A2 and combine them to create an animated stony banked water autotile I could apply to any terrain autotile I needed.

  3. Made some small improvements and added horny skeletons!

The old skeletons might still be useful to someone so, contrary to my initial inclination, I refrained from removing them.
  4. Horny Better Skeletons

No, seriously love what you've done. Keep up the good work!
