  1. If you care about your mapping then you're probably like me, very annoyed by the way the indoor tilesets line up against the walls and such.

Well, I took it upon myself to add a new tile that had the furniture such as beds, tables, barrels, stoves, etc. and make them align with

the walls better, giving it a more dimensional look rather than the blockiness that the RTP stuck us with.

    Example:

The stuff on the left is how a room would have stuff lined up in the RTP, and the right is my edited tiles.

And here is the tileset. Just add it to any unused part of your indoor tilesets and enjoy your better looking rooms.

Only credit if you want, I just moved a few things around on photoshop.

If you see anything that you want resized or moved in the RTP, just reply to this thread and I'll add to this tileset.

    Enjoy!

    *UPDATE*

I added stairs to the tileset and made them look better. The descending stairs for the second floor is able to have inter-changable backgrounds, as seen here in the screenshot.

    *UPDATE*

I went in and added plants as well as paintings. I also added side-facing cabinets to make the house not look so empty. The final addition was roof beams that make the house look a bit more supported. I may add different roof beams for different roof types in the future, but it's a tedious process and this is all I've made for now.

Here is an in-game screenshot that shows what a combination of these tilesets in the map editor combined with events can give you:

Note: The plants were imported from Inquisitor's Medieval Indoor tilesets.

NOTE: The plants came from Inquisitor's tilesets for RPG Maker XP, found here:

  2. It's like you read my mind! Amazing job! I especially love the stair set that you added on.

Do you think you could do an edit for the shelves and cabinets - especially the half-sizes with the drawers? I always like putting a "night-stand" next to the beds, but like you said, they always end up looking really weird and sticking out too far from the wall. Thank you! <3

I can't believe no one has thought to move them before, hahaha. :)
  3. Sure thing! Could you give me a screenshot of the specific piece you are talking about? I'd hate to go and move stuff around then it end up being the wrong thing, haha. And thank you for the nice comment. :)
  4. We require moar vespene ga-- I mean...we need more of these awesome edits, please :3
  5. If you guys can think of anything you want edited or re-colored/re-sized, just let me know. I'm thinking about starting a thread taking requests.

If it's not too much trouble, could you do these? :)

If it is, just the stack of five crates, the big "X" crate, and the first half-size drawer in the upper left corner are the ones that I use all the time and would love to have match up to the walls.

    Thanks again!
  7. I believe I got everything you requested, ShinyNickel. I also added side-facing cabinets and the tops of cabinets for putting against the "bottom" wall that you can't see, to make it fill in empty space and look like there is more furniture in the room.

I also added legs to the "side-tables" you wanted to make them look a little better. :)
  8. Sweet :3 Though what are those strange thin wooden pieces in the top left of the picture with wardrobes?
  9. You can see them used in the bottom screenshot, they are meant to look like support beams holding the house together.
  10. You are magical! Side facing cabinets!!! :D I've never been more excited about furniture in my life, hahaha!
  11. Please add in your OP that people have to credit the Inquisitor set if they use the plants :)

  15. If you would, would you continue this with all the tilesets? I would think it would be fabulous!
  16. Great work, love the stairs most of all :)
  17. These are really nice, love the side view shelves!
  18. Hey Light can you make those two chairs sideways?
