  1. I'm kinda new here, so I'm sorry if this have been answered before. I'm looking for a combination of scripts to achieve an ATB Sideview Battle System, with animated battlers support. I'm going to use holder's sheets. I've seen several ones, but I would like to know which you would suggest, and the pro's and con's for each. Thanks guys!

EDIT: Oh, and a good GUI script to put it with. GUI in the battle scene to be more specific. I'm currently learning scripting, so if I can't find a good one that suits me I'll make one for myself somehow.
  2. There are a few scripts catering to what you are asking for. One of the combination you can use is the following :

Yami's Engine Symphony - Battle Symphony

    Yami's Engine Symphony - Add-on : Holder Battlers

Fomar0153's Customisable ATB/Stamina Based Battle System Script
  3. Wow, thanks! Basing from the reviews and videos, Yami's Script are superb. And Fomar's as well. Any chance for a good GUI? I have yet to try these. Thanks a lot for suggesting.
  4. I know many people like MogHunter's Battle GUI.
  5. Thanks for the reminder, bgillisp. Not sure about compatibility with the above scripts though.
  6. Yeah, MOG's scripts do tend to (at least from my experience) not be compatable with too many other scripts. That's actually why I don't use them. But, the OP may have better luck than I did.
  7. I'll test them out to be sure. Thanks guys!

EDIT: Luna Engine looks great. I also found another Sideview script made by Kread. Now I can't decide which to pick. Which would you prefer?
  8. The best will be to test out any script that holds your interest. Despite having similar names, claiming to do the same thing, each script has it's uniqueness. Also, scripts created by different people have different compatibilities with other people's scripts.

It will be advantageous for you to choose scripts that have the most compatibility with other scripts that you would want to use in the same project, rather than one that promises loads of bells and whistles, yet conflicts with almost everything else out there.
  9. That sounds very helpful. Just noticed too that Luna Engine isn't free. It's weird though because the demo isn't showing atleast what the full version should provide. Thanks for the help! Hopefully, I'll need help again sometime.
  10. Actually, the demo is pretty much a bare bones sample of what the full version can do. Back before the Luna Engine was in the store, a few people tried it out & managed to make quite a few cool looking GUIs. I think it is in one of pinned topics in Luna Engine Support.

The full version, of course, provides more features, and also a few ready made GUIs. If you want to know what those GUIs look like, you can check out the store preview pictures (minus some actors' portraits).

Not trying to sales pitch here, just trying to point you in the right direction (in regards to the functionality of the engine).

Be sure to take your time, and good luck!
