  1. This might not seem like a big deal, but do you have some weather effects on your map? For example, you’re walking through a snowy fortress and it is currently snowing on the map, but then when you enter battle…it’s not snowing.

While that may or may not desirable, RPGMaker MV doesn’t give you much choice: there are no weather effects in battle.

    You can test it yourself:

    1. On a map, create an event that will add some snow weather effects.
    2. When you run the event, it should start snowing
    3. When a battle begins, the snow effect stops.
    4. After the battle, the snow effect resumes.

So even if it’s heavily snowing on the map, your battlefield will be perfectly clean.

With this plugin, you can have your weather effects carry over into battle!

  2. Very cool. I love seeing weather anything in RPG Maker. It's hard to explain but really gives it that creepy amazing exciting depth to the game lol.

  7. Awesome!!

    Simple, but very cool plugin!

Is it possible to make an skill that changes to weather in battle for a few rounds and then goes back to the weather before,so that it wont effect the weather after leaving the battle.

And to connect it with an common event so that different weather will increase/ decrease the power of fire/ice spells, or do i have to event this?
  8. Terms of use?
  9. Terms of use are specified in the Help... section of the plugin.

Yes, the plugin allows you to change weather during battle.

However, you will need to find a way to store the previous weather.

I may put together a tutorial showing one way to do that.

It is possible with eventing and damage formulas, but I would recommend looking for a separate plugin to handle this.

Weather-based damage sounds interesting though. I can provide a plugin to demonstrate how it works.
  10. I looked at the plugin and I think it would be best to ask soulpour to support those during battle as well.
  11. Alright, thank you.
  12. Hey, has this been updated since 1.3.1? Current Version? (yes I asked about your other awesome plugin)
