Battle Symphony- Dual Wielding Problems

  1. I'd like to first note that getting Battle Symphony is a bit of a struggle these days, so I can't really provide an accurate link to the script. If absolutely need be, I can put it here.

    Anyway, Battle Symphony has... unusual problems with dual wielding. Rather than playing both animations and having one damage number of both weapons combined, it attacks with the first weapon twice (and possibly even applies the elements of both weapons). The way Battle Symphony does it not only gives dual-wielders the chance to be stupidly overpowered, it also uses the visual of the first weapon for both attacks.

    This issue has been noted several times (such as http://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?/topic/23717-issues-with-battle-engine-symphony/), and apparently even solved. But I have yet to find anyone that's actually posted anything close to a solution.

    Does anyone know anything about this, how to make dual-wielding function the way it's supposed to in the base engine?

  3. That just draws the appropriate weapon icon on the battler.  The animations will both still be the mainhand weapon, and the damage will be the combined total of both weapons, for each hit.
