  1. In my game, I required a troop of marching soldiers—so I made this real quick, and figured I'd share it.

    Tips

    Spoiler
If you put a single unit soldier directly behind the $Battalion event, it will stop the player from being able to walk behind the soldiers (for realism). BUT! Make sure to sync the movement of the single soldier with the group soldiers, or it will look weird.

Here's how it might look if utilized in your game.

In terms of licensing, obviously it's 100% Fair Use, considering it's just an edit of the RTP stuff. If you want to credit me for the 10 minute Photoshop job, go ahead, but I won't mind if you don't. Enjoy.
  2. THANK YOU!

My evil army is finally going to happen! :p
  3. I like the idea but I think soldiers should march in line.

    :p

This. Poor training IMO! Enemy Army will crash right into them and they'll all scatter! XD

    (Good job btw!)

  6. These are so cool. Nice work!
  7. lol cool
  8. Awesome~
  9. Firstly, thanks for making this edit, its a great idea and saved me the trouble of doing it. However I can't see how to use it. When I create an event and try to use the graphic as the image it only selects a tiny portion of the graphic. I assume I'm doing something wrong here.
  10. When you save the file, be sure to put a $ at the beginning of the file name. You can read more about why here.

Also, in the editor it will only show as a 48x48 section, but will appear fully in the game.

^ You legend. Thank you, worked like a dream.
  12. What speed do we need to sync the single soldier to?  I've tried various combinations and it always looks like the single soldier is just a half step slower than his comrades.
