I made some desert additions today, it started with altering and redrawing a huge part of the palms so they won't look so weird small anymore and then I decided to make a matching small set :)

That well and cracked walls will work in a variety of settings.

I never thought of the little squiggly things, but now I can't imagine the desert dwellings without them. The way you recessed in the windows and doorways was a stroke of genius.

Of course the large palm tree is nice and the multisectional cacti are a nice change.

I really love it - you know, the fact that everything in MV RTP is soo small makes me use different graphics, but you guys are going to solve that problem :D

Btw. the doors are also really nice for a desert :)

Well, as you can see I do a little bit of everything^^;

We all know about MV's lack of animal sprites and so I took a request about butterflies and added a matching face^^ The colors are the ones of one of the RTP fairies and the face is an edit of her, the sprite is from scratch^^

Thanks. I love butterflies! May I give a suggestion to the animation? How about it opening and closing wings (like the wings are width 0 or close to 0 at one point, and then they grow beautifully to the sides)? (it may be tricky to do the side view this way)

Ah, I am so bad when it comes to descriptions. We all know the default resources have a huge lack of animals and normal looking monsters, so I decided to make a cute wolf :3

It was not planned to look so... young? but I tried to stay close to the default chibi style of the chars^^;




 

Gorgeous work as always, Avery. I needed that modern telephone booth charset, and thank you for those rounded cliffs and desert tiles! Those curtained doorways are wonderful and look natural too. Looks like even butterflies need their own facesets ^_^

The wolf looks adorable. Almost too cute to fight ;)

Uhm... nowhere? I started editing XP resources in 2011, doing icons in 2013 and drawing with a tablet in 2015 (previously I didn't own or touch any). I had several people giving me feedback and helping me improve, but the most stuff I learnt on my own.

I made a nearly half ruin sheet within the last days and though I am planning to fill it up I am stucked again, so here you go. I know what I want to put on the whole right side, I just need to figure out something for the lower tiles.
