So here are the requests:

Nearly everything was a little tricky :D
I tried to get the shading of the bread roll as realistic as possible, I hope it's what you wanted ;3
The speaker was made as small icon first and resized then, so there might be more people who have a use for it^^
I'm pretty proud of the olive branch, CrazyCrab, so I hope, you like it, too^^ I did my best at the spices, is this what you needed?
The gummy fish was the easiest part but fun too shade :D
I had some trouble to add detail to the bow, there is just not very much space^-^' But this should work for you ;3
And well, nothing to say about the chainsaw^-^
A little note to the denying of requests:
This is my hobby and I am doing it for fun. And sometimes, mostly when I feel like someone doesn't really care about the request or even don't read the rules, it is not fun at all working on the maybe interesting stuff. I don't want to force myself to work on icons because on long term I would loose this fun part.
And here all the answers to the answers to the equipment set:
Edit: start post iconset will be updated after restaff because I have already added my restaff icons (spoiler! D: ) to the set ;3Spoiler@Deathswallow
Thank you :D
I'm glad you like this particular one, I was afraid that there were too many things with spikes xD
@Dreadshadow
Well, it just started as little equipment practise xD And then... uhm... I practised a little more? Thank you x3
@ksjp17
It would be really cool to see them in game... well, now I have seen them in their first screen <3 Very cool map, I really appreciate how you use them^^
Actually I was a little unsure on the helmets because I recently worked a little on viking helmets and was afraid that too many now have a "nordic" touch xD
Thank you <3
@Candacis
*glitters now*
Ah, this isn't even my true form xD I might have finished it in the half time if I was sure what music I wanted to hear and turned off the evil distracting internet xD I wanted to make fancy stuff, because there are already a lot of "normal" weapons and my modular sets also cover a lot on that area^^ Thank you <3
@CrazyCrab
Dat image <3
I guess I am the only one in my family with a steam account xD
@Deb
Thank you^^ That's awesome to hear from someone who has really seen nearly all the icons ^//^ (I hope you haven't seen those on the site with the ... very disgusting drawings next to the icons ^^')
@Hotfirelegend
I have to admit that I never played that game xD
Thank you x3
@nio
I don't know, I think I killed every possibility in doing one by making now 1884 icons for free ^^'
Thank you <3
@Kyuukon
Hehe, maybe xD
You are welcome <3
@Caitlin
That's something I really dislike in many RPGs, when people using the same icons for many different things without even recoloring... I mean, if there's an iron and a gold sword, they might have the same shape, but never the same color, so it's very cool that you so that^^
@Sharm
Whoah, what an amazing feedback!
I'd like to hand you an license for awesomeness (It's a little illagal, I have never got a license for handing licenses, but I am an outlaw ;3) <3
As also said several time it's awesome to hear awesome from someone who is doing very awesome stuff <3
I wanted to avoid too similar designs so I made every design (not icon, some icons in the same design are edits, like the rods are edits based on the spears, but never edited of something that isn't in the set) from scratch. It was never a question if I should use a base, because this is something I really dislike in some cases and was the inspiration for the modular ones (I just think it's boring when some people make hundreds of icons out of a few edits and all possible recolors. If I had done this instead of modular stuff I would have around hundredthousand icons in the start post). Each set should have it's own "flair". I mean, some sets share the same or similar colors and there shouldn't be any doubt which parts belong together. I wanted to play around, that's why some of the designs are quite... uhm, fantastic and using a base would have put a limit into the design. It's the same with the necklace, I made the charm first, played around until I was happy and aded a necklace then^^ I also thought that it would be unrealistic to have all the necklaces having the same length, thickness and structure and I think the effect was worth the work :3
I was a bit sad that I came up with nothing for air, I have fire, earth (those which look like branches) and water, but I just couldn't thing of air, because air is invisible (well, it should be at least), but maybe the golden set could be used as air set.
I had a little trouble with some because at the start I simply wanted to make bows and nothing else and so I didn't design them to be continued and I was afraid that all those spiky sets would look too similar. I am really relieved that this doen't seem to be like that.
Aw <3 (A little speachless)
Currently I don't want to add more because I have spent enough time on it xD I really thought if I shouldn't add bracers, rings, mage robes.... but well, this jst would've been to much. Maybe someday xD I am always willing to expand these by request, like if someone uses the max. 3 icons per request on additional icons (a ring for #3, a cape for #5 and so on).
Thank you so much for being so awesome <3
@Bequ
As Sharm said, I am more likely a lady :D
Thank you^^
@palladinthug
Really? I was a little worried about them and funnily the two things I was most worried about (helmets and nacklaces) seem to be the most appreciated ones :D Sadly there are many things with few variation, there should be more other accessoires like rings and so on, too.
I could've just shorten the blades, but meh... this was the better option and more fun, just shortening is boring xD
Thank you <3 -
EDIT:
Can you make Zodiac signs in VXAce style?

-
@Silenity
Err, the rules say you can ask for 3 max and you're asking for 12. If you find a post by Engr. Adiktuzmiko and click on the link back to his site, you will find a set there that he's done.
You'll be getting a copy of the game when it comes out. In the meantime, as you like seeing how your work is used, here is the blacksmith who sells armour and metal weapons. You can see the set I chose (I put the armour on a stand towards the back, near the shield on the wall) and recoloured the handle of one of your maces, plus a claw and a gauntlet from the default. That way, our hero can be fully colour coordinated. Even in an rpg, a hero may wish to make a fashion statement.It would be really cool to see them in game... well, now I have seen them in their first screen <3 Very cool map, I really appreciate how you use them^^
Actually I was a little unsure on the helmets because I recently worked a little on viking helmets and was afraid that too many now have a "nordic" touch

And here is the bow maker's workshop - separate, because why would a worker in metal (the blacksmith) know how to make and string a bow? He uses left over wood to make cudgels, and an example is on the table as well.

Hmm, just realised I need a broom in there to sweep up the sawdust. I'll need to make a little pile of sawdust for that.
EDIT
New version complete with the aforementioned broom and pile of sawdust.
So there, between the 3 screens, you've seen quite a number of icons in use. So once more, thank you for providing such quality resources -
Thank you, the bow is perfect :)
Thank you so much Avery for everything you've done. These icons are simply gorgeous, and a lot of people appreciate the hard work that goes into making them :)
I find it kinda funny that you're least confident about the helmets and necklaces - they're stunningly beautiful! The helmets are my favourites by far! -
Thanks! I tried to create my own gummy fish and I admit that mine looked like a badly done rtp edit. I just love the way your icons look. I guess that the weapons thing has been a pet peeve of mine since rpg maker xp. o_o I love the gummy fish, make me want to eat a bunch of gummies right now. Hmm, maybe I could convince my brother to buy some at the store. I <3 gummies, especially a brand called 'Black Forest'. *But that's off topic* I love the way the spices look, and the chainsaw looks awesome. I am very grateful that you have a mix of fantasy and modern icons, because I think modern icons are sorely needed. ^_^ Nothing worse than needing a cell phone icon and having to run around to look one!
-
Nice work as always, you do already know which ones form the new sheet are my favorites :)
But I have also a request for you, if you have the time and the motivation/fun to do it.
The things I need are 3 big Icons, a thunder, a fire and an ice Icon. There can be like the icons from the RTP just bigger (48x48 was it?), or also like the status/skill Icons you did a while ago. Also I have a question, what's the biggest size you can do for "bigger Icons"? You wrote that we could ask you ;) If you could manage the normal facest-size (96x96) this would be fantastic, but the normal Big Icon size will do as just as that.
I don't know how much work 3 big Icons are for you, so I'm glad about everything you'll do. Also I think these icons could be very useful for many other people ;)
Greetings Raider -
Hooray! The chainsaw is great! :D
Could you maybe make a claw base for me? I'm obviously not going to ask you for a whole bunch of claw sprites, and if I could just have a back of the hand sprite I'm sure I could figure out the rest myself. Something like the back of the hand in these sprites here would be very helpful: http://s15.postimg.org/99dcc5x7f/Object_13.png -
Not more than 3 at one time.Raider, I'll talk to you in private what would be the best solution for the thing you need ^^.If you have more general requests, here ist Granny's Icon List. Check it before you request thigs like "more keys" or "an iron sword". There are already enough of those general things.
Rest is denied of obvious reasons and I'm really getting annoyed. I had to refuse 5 out of the last 12 requests now and as you guess, this does not make me happy.
Oh, ksjp17, this is so awesome to see <3 And yes, hero equipment needs to be more fashionable in makergames :D Something that is funny in my opinion is that many people have heroes with very fantastic equip in his character picture, but the equip in the menu are just the normal RTP icons^^
Seperating the shops is really cool as well! This adds a more realstic feeling to the game. Thank you for showing <3
Thank you imascribble <3 Funnily I am often least confident about the things people like most, I don't know why^^
Caitlin, never heard of that gummy brand xD I prefer Haribo, but I think that's a German thing ;3 Thank you very much <3 I'll try to make both, since there are less modern things and there are more things missing, but more fantasy themed games, but I think I have a good balance ;3 -
Hello Avery!! I just wanted to say thank you so much for taking the time to make all these AWESOME icons for the community! (like...theres ALOT of them. And i know they must have taken FOREVER to make.)
If you would be so kind, i would like very much to request this icon to be made:
1 Big icon 48*48, of a 9mm Pistol (im useing a yanfly script that uses larger icons, along side using the regular ones. Thank you for that link by the way, it'll come in handy soon :) ...) Here is a reference pic to help, it is exactly what im looking for:
I would like the Icon to be compatible with the VX Ace RTP please.
Please feel free to take as much time as you need, as my game is in early development. Thank you again, so very much :) . -
hi ,Avy, may I ask for a normal Icon too? ;) (24x24)
I'd like to have a Sorghum ,and the picture is here..
Spoiler
Just one plant with 2 leaves would be nice, thanks in advance!!~ And the iconsheet you made is fantastic ^_~ -
Wow, these are amazing.So here are the requests:
Thanks a lot, I think I've got everything I could ask for now. ;) -
Hey, in case you are open to requests again, I need some for a little project I'm making. I want to use a script that displays the icons in the emote balloons. They will be featured heavily through eh.. balloon conversations, so they are pretty essential to the game.
Normal Size, for VX/Ace.
First, I'm looking for a laurel wreath, you know, like a victory wreath. I just need something, that can be identified as victory. It could be in gold or light green. Something like this:
I have two people "talking" about victory and war via balloon icons, so something like this would be perfect.Spoiler
Second, I need another icon for the balloon conversation, it could even look like a skill icon. This would be two or one feet, like in a running motion. So, it could very well function as a speed skill icon, too, for other people. Or one could use it for a "flee" icon to flee out of battle.
Something like this:
I just need an icon that can portray someone running away.Spoiler

Third, would be a white flag, that I can use as a sign for surrender, but I'm not sure how well it could work on the background of one of the balloons. Maybe more a light blue or grey. Would be great, if the flag could be on a stick, like this: http://www.defendclevelandshow.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/White-Flag.jpg
I also like the form of the flag on this picture.
I hope, I have inspired you and I would be very happy, if you could find the time to make these icons. :) Thanks for reading this! -
What do you need?
Rapiers! Good ole slender rapier weapons.
What style do you need?
RPG Maker VX Axe style.
Firstly, may I ask the blade to be a slightly more slender version of this RTP icon:

Secondly, if it wouldn't be too much of a hassle, could it be compatible with your modular icons?
Lastly, since we can request three, may I request these three hilt styles for the rapier?

It's right after midnight in Germany
After all this time spent with the RTP-styled icons and all the stress with the people not reading my rules I finally decided that something has to change.
I tried a little and found my new passion the style of the commodore 64, a gorgeous retro computer
A 16 color palette, some crazy limits (3 colors + black per icon, 21x12 pixels; double wide) <3 I love such challenges!
At first I will have to remake all my 1884 icons in that style, so I'll be busy for a while. I hope you don't mind this change, but I think it's the best way.
Here is the first basic set:

I'd love to hear some feedback, what do you think about the change? -
The retro style is... cute xD! I like it classy :)
I think the RTP icons would find more use though. But go for whatever you feel like :p !
Edit: Were these last requests that bad? They were pretty detailed to me :e -
I've always been a fan of retro style icons, and it would be great to have more of them in my opinion :)
-
I'm very impressed by the fact that instead of making you lose your creative drive, this stress is making you do more creative stuff.
Only 3 colours per icon sounds like a fun challenge, good luck :) -
Commodore Amiga 500 was my first computer ever.I'd love to hear some feedback, what do you think about the change?
And I do respect C64 of course.
It is a nice change, I really love the RTP styled icons you make, but this is supposed to firstly be fun and challenging for YOU.
If you love what you do, you do it good.
So if C64 style pleases you, I can say that your creations will be nice. -

I think these would go great with DS and retro style graphics.
