I guess its just a wrong alert, but would be happy if someone else also knows something :)

While I wouldn't be positive how to make Avast stop blocking the file, maybe you could disable Avast while downloading? I haven't used Avast in years but if I remember correctly, I think it lets you do that.

Hi there, we're currently in the process to ask for RMMV to be whitelisted by antivirus programs.

Any word on this? Some of my playtesters are reporting that their game.exe files in the distribution packages I send are also being false-positived.

Wow major gravedig, my anti didn't respond to downloading this. Even if it did, every plugin gets false positive'd not even by anti virus anymore just by browser in general and so many things ppl should be used to having to work around by now I'm js.. -
There always have been cases of false-positives on the game.exe, and there will always be. That is for several reasons based on distribution and heuristic searches and a few other reasons.
In the end, your player have no choice but to whitelist that specific folder - they could whitelist the program itself instead, but while that is less work (one whitelist instead of every game folder) it would also be less secure.
