auto wall tile only block toon on 3 sides glicht?

I am using wall a (concrete) it is a auto tile form sf inside tile set. it does not allow movement onto it on only 3 sides of the tile but if I go under it and walk up, I can walk onto it.In the database it is marked as with a X on the passage. I thought any tile marked with X under passage you can not go onto that tile or am I mistaken or doing something wrong?
