    Now I thought I had a line on the artist for these, thinking of how Old Scratch has military-type faces posted, but then I found this post on a game development blog-type post for a game about Tanks:

    where the sprites are being used in a screenie. But after I downloaded the Japanese game, I couldn't come up with the credit info either. =/ Of course I cannot read the text file that comes with it.
