After taking a quick look at who was online and what they were browsing, I was astounded to discover that there were five times more guests exploring these forums than users. With that said, I have one simple thing to say.

There is a wealth of knowledge on these forums, and a dedicated group of individuals who can help you on your way to creating your first RPG. By becoming a member, you can help yourself grow, make new friends, share your ideas, and have a wonderful time!

I encourage everyone who is reading this post who is not currently a member to sign up, and introduce yourself. I understand that there may be a language barrier for some people, others may be shy, or some people simply think that they're not good enough to make a game, or think that they don't have anything to offer to the forums.

You're wrong!

Talent comes in all shapes and sizes, and you should never be afraid to share your thoughts and to learn with the community. Everyone here will be more than happy to help you with your problems, provide advice, and give you constructive criticism and feedback on your maps, puzzles, story ideas, artwork, and everything in between. You might just find something to inspire you to begin your journey into game design, and one day you'll perhaps inspire others to do the same.

Or they simply just can't communicate / speak english. They often browse the forum literally just for script / plugin / game thread posted here. Yeah, I mean if around 5 years ago I didn't force myself to talk (actually, write) in Eng, I won't be here.

browsing the forums is like passing by a shop's showcase.
the key word being, "passing by".

'General Discussion' is for looking at broad themes of making a game.

Also maybe they mostly were bots phishing e-mails and personal info. :p

Robots deserve a place on these forums too.

If true AI ever happens, they will be the new internet trolls. Its inevitable.

Also, the reason I joined here was because I bought every RPG Maker version that is available on Steam. People browsing these forums as guests may not even own a copy yet.
