There are a lot of free resources here that I'm still looking through and I've purchased nearly all of the battlers from the RPG Maker shop that fit the art style I plan on going with (matching the default/base battlers that come with RPG Maker MV) but in the end I think I'm gonna come up WAY short on the scope and variety for monsters-SV battlers.
Are there any good third party websites where I can purchase battler resources?

As far as I know, not really. The resources for 2d jrpg are rather scarce in numbers. Also, this is not a question to ask here, since we're not allowed to "advertise" competitors' shops. I've already been warned for doing that.

I am moving this rather than simply closing it (as Poryg said, we don't allow advertizing of commercal competitors, in the same way as Ford wouldn't allow General Motors to be advertized on their site) because there are a lot of very good SV battlers available for free on this site, and people could point you in the right direction. However, it would help if you could give an indication of the enemies you are looking for. -
I assume you have seen hiddenone's?

Yeah, and I downloaded all of yanfly's animated battlers. They're pretty cool but the art style is too different for most of them. I'm looking to set up a pallet of monsters similar to D&D, just the classics really - dragons, goblins, undead, skeletons, etc. -
You could use Tyler Warren's battlers. But other than that it's rather hard to suggest any, because everyone draws in their own unique style. And if you were to look at other online shops, you'd find mostly cartoon style single or small groups of baťtlers. I've brazed through myltiple online shops, but had no really good results.

Avery made a useful list of SV battlers that you may find helpful. But honestly, SV battlers are a lot of work and most people who make them have their own style, so you won't find a lot of people who have similar-looking resources for them.
