Hey guys. Been messing with the HF tile sets but I can't seem to make good looking maps.
For example, if you look at the picture of the main page:
http://www.rpgmakerweb.com/a/graphics/high-fantasy-mega-bundle
The house there on the default picture is very nice looking. It has the slanted roof - but for the life of me I can not copy it. I can't find the tile sets for the roofing that looks/works like that.
Edit: Found the tiles for the roofs but I can't seem to properly place them. They aren't flush. Not sure how to place the roof over the wall tiles with out leaving empty spots.
Any map making tutorials for High Fantasy?

They used parallax mapping for those specific tiles.

All tilesheets from the HF packs are intended for regular mapping, NOT parallax mapping.
Please post screenshots of your tileset setup and your map for us to see what's happen there - there should be no gap if everything is setup correctly. -
I played around with the tiles (just to practice because I just bought the packs myself) and can confirm that I can recreate that house exactly using the HF2 tileset.
I used HF2_A3_2 for the wall, HF2_Outside_2 for the roof, HF2_Outside_3 for the window. For the left part of the house, I used the wall tile to build a block 5 tiles wide and 6 tiles high, then I pasted the roof tile over it, fourth tile from the bottom of the wall block. If you want to follow that picture exactly, you don't need the 'top/back' portion of the roof. From here, it's just a bit of right-clicking to copy the tile you want and left-clicking to paste until your roof reaches the edge of the map.
