Animated spinning wheel

  1. One of the rare occasions when I think I can make a resource contribution, rather than always asking for help.  Naturally I looked at lots of reference pics, so this is probably an amalgamation of several spinning wheels you can buy, but I couldn't get the spindle to work, so there isn't one.  Sorry about that.  If anyone can add a spindle and would like to post it here as an edit, that would be nice.

This works as one would expect: stepping animation, speed normal, frequency highest.

    EDIT

Oops, forgot the shadow.  It's there now.

    EDIT AGAIN

I was overthinking the spindle problem.  Here it is included.
  2. Cute! Thanks for sharing, ksjp. Actually for a moment I thought it was a table fan, but spinning wheel is cool :)
  3. Thanks.  I hadn't thought about a table fan, but I see what you mean.  I laughed when I saw your comment.
  4. I made certain Cecilia Crescent was aware of this, since spinning wheels are integral to most versions of Sleeping Beauty and her story features Maleficent.
  5. Nice to know it might of of use to someone.  Here's a little image to show what it looks like with a sprite etc.  If I knew how to do a gif, I'd post that, but sadly I don't.

Hope she doesn't prick her finger.. . .
  7. Oh my gosh! So adorable! Great work there!
  8. @TygerBurnz

If she does, I'm sure our intrepid heroes would know what to do.  Though as in this particular instance she's a married woman, perhaps the traditional cure might not be appropriate.

    @mlogan

Thank you.  Maybe as I get more confidence, I'll post other things as well.
  9. I'm making a game centred around Maleficent and I'd love to be able to use this at one point :D

Edit: Oh wait, TygerBurnz already mentioned me XD

Her husband could alwys give the kiss (or impregnation, depending on your tale).
  11. @Cecilia Crescent

I hope you find it useful.  I'm glad Maleficent is getting her own game.  When I first saw the film as a child, I much preferred her to the 'good' fairies who I thought were a bit boring.  Her entrances and exits had such style!

    I know right? She's just great! :D
  13. I'm new here, but I was thinking. I was thinking that this animation would be useful in a mini game concept.  Combining a bit more luck, with a dose of wheel of fortune....what do you think?
  14. Month ago I was looking for a spinning wheel, found none, gave up and now I'm stumbling over this thread :) *happy*

    Thanks for making this!
