Tweet tweet and all that good stuff. Soooo along with doing the occasional art, I also make jewelry. I've recently been working on making charms for use on keychains/bracelets/necklaces.
They are a little smaller than an inch, squareshaped, clear resin. I've been cutting up magic the gathering cards and dipping them in the resin to pretty good effect. Will insert an actual picture when I get home from work.
Actual rambling being done, I wonder if there was anyone interested in being guinnea pigs. Every game has an insignia...or even a main pixel character..or even concept art, commissioned art, and so on. I wanna try and make a charm of these!
My big idea is to make a few prototypes for free, and, if liked, offer these charms/keychains as like small kickstarter rewards for games, or for game raffles.
Now, if you're interested in me making an experimental charm for your game, the only thing I'll need is a page of the resized image (about one inch...) multiple copies so I can make a set and send you back the best one. I need this mailed though, as my printer is ancient and doesn't do color prints.
Lemme know if anyone is interested. Again, free asides from shipping me a piece of paper. I'll get back to you later aand show samples after work.
An odd request- custom charm experiment

That sounds great, if everything goes right with myself I'd gladly participate in this activity.

So. My camera sucks at taking pictures of small things, but this is essentially what it looks like:

Ignore the braided rope part on this. I decided to just go with stainless steel ball chain to secure the charm around the keyring. When the shipment comes in, I'll update.

Again, these charms measure at about 20mm, which is a little less than an inch. I place them in a mold, then recoat them again 24 hours later, so it's essentially a 2-day process. The possibilities are endless though :) these are just parts of magic cards. I'd love to experiment for some pixel guys or game assets. -
Nice! Their looking good, you want to work with pixels? Well I got some pixels... I think this is about 20mm tell me if I should make it smaller.

It might be workable. I think the only way to tell would be the actually print and measure it, since it's hard to tell otherwise. I think it would make a great charm though!Nice!
