Adding a movie

I'm close to finish my short game and I have one problem.

I transform the video into OGV file , imported it, and set event to turn on the short video I wanted to place.
It opens the video but it stops it after like 6 seconds.
I got two videos that I want to add (on different locations), one is 9 seconds long, and the other is 1 min and 15 seconds long.

I first tried with the 9 seconds long video, and i tried to maybe cut the video into 3 pieces and set them one after the another, but its not working well cause it cuts like 1 second from the start so it mess the sequence.

I do hope I can put movies longer than 6 seconds long ..

Any advice? 

then your OGV-file is not made with the standard configuration.


A lot of video converters try to compress the videos for minimum filesize, but the more extreme measures they use, the less compatible the result becomes.


Try to recode the video into an OGV with standard settings, not optimized settings.


If that doesn't help, try a different conversion program.

Was really hard for me to find a program that convert to OGV, all option of search leading to OGG and not OGV...

I used a program called "Faasoft Video Converter".

Do you have any other name of program? I wasn't able to found one...

Also about changing into "standard settings" I will try to figure it out.
