Actors not appearing in Dragonbones

  1. After some help from the very kind Aloe Guvner, I managed to get my DragonBones plugin working and my enemies have been replaced and are animating just fine!

However for some reason now my player actors' sprites have disappeared entirely. I'm even more confused now because the plugin is working but for some reason is making these sprites invisible? The sv images are the same default ones in the editor.

As you can see I tried replacing his actor with another armature but that didn't work and I did go back to reference it in the preload assets parameter of the plugin.

Really not sure how to proceed or even what to show a screenshot of.

Any advice that you could give would be most appreciated. If you need any particular information for me to give, point it out and I'll do my best to get it.

Upon testing the game the battles also lack a background, despite the background being there when I test it in the troops section of the database.
  2. Just wondering, but have you tried replacing battler with one of the enemy armatures that are working? If it's visible, then there's probably an issue with the one you're trying to put in. If "Swordsman" is a custom armature, please make sure the armature is named "Swordsman" on Dragonbones.

Also, I ran into an issue with regular SV sprites disappearing, so make sure Battle Engine Core is up to date.
  3. Yeah I just directly copied my Demon armature to use for my actor, no luck.

I also have checked the Battle Engine and it's at version 1.46. When I go to the yanfly site it says that's the latest version when I try to download, I assume they update it with the latest version everytime, no?
  4. How strange... unfortunately for this kind of issue, there could be quite a few reasons why it's not working, with the problem being narrowing it down of course. On Yanfly's Dragonbones page, there's a download for the demo, so perhaps you can try swapping out some of the plugin files and copying the notetags.

Speaking of the notetags, it's good practice to close your notetag with </DragonBone Settings>, just in case you add other plugins that will read actor notetags. I don't think it'll solve your issue though.

I suggested checking BattleEngineCore because there's a chance you haven't updated it, but I read through your other thread and you seem to have everything set up correctly, so it's rather perplexing.
  5. I have the same issue... did you ever find an answer ?????:LZYsmile::LZYsmile:
  6. I bumped into the same issue, i had to go into the system and change the battle setting to side view battle, it was off for some reason, that fixed my issue.

While it's nice you're helping, I doubt the OP will see it, as they haven't been online since 2018.

    Closing.
