  2. Frequently asked questions

    Where are you shipping from?

    Michigan, USA.

    Do you ship internationally?

    Yup! :)

Are the exclusive resources something completely new, or are they already (or have been) available by other means? (Store, Member+, Early Adopters)

It's a mix of both. There's some really cool never released resources included!

    Do Members+ get a discount?

Due to the promo we're running on the buy 1 get 1 free, we're not able to offer a discount at this time.

Will it be in retail stores?

Yes! The list is growing all the time, and every store will have its own date. We'll try to make a list as time goes on! :)
  3. So, only bought from the online store, not target or someplace like that?
  4. So, all that hype for a boxed version of software that already exists and has been in use for months.
  5. This is totally awesome. I've always preferred physical copies for my software, so I may have to order this sometime. How long will it be on the market?
  6. I'm gonna be honest, that was pretty damn underwhelming. :(

Ah well, at least there's freebies. Maybe I might get it as a gift or something.
  7. :oOOOOO

    thanks nathanial-san!

its a pretty fricking big thing. first time rpg maker was ever released physically in the west. killjoy.
  8. *Sobs in the land of no money, credit or debit cards* I want this, so bad ;_; But still very nice, this sure will help out people who have issues downloading things off the internet. And those extra resources make it an amazing deal!

EDIT: Whoa, ninja'd by four people

The move from digital only to digital and physical, with the potential to move on to store shelves is a big one for RM, and really shows how much the western market has grown for the product. Personally, it is something I am VERY excited about.

Also, a tip of the glass to Nathanial, who put in a lot of work to get this done.

That's pretty awesome to hear. Will be a huge step forward for the company which hopefully means for the community as well.
  14. 70$ for a physical copy of the program, with freebies? What a steal! And you can get a free one for your family member or buddy? I already know my Christmas gift to give to someone.

    Aa. Just wondering. Usually when things get shipped to my place, they tend to spend some time left out in the rain -_-;;

We clearly disagree over the definition of "Excitement". I don't think the whole countdown thing was necessary for just saying "Hey guys! It's in a box now!"

then maybe you should get out and stop posting in a thread dedicated to the boxed copies. thanks for ting up the thread though!!!! :---DDDDD
  19. Physical copies with free goodies. Now if only I knew someone who would like this, I could purchase it for 'them'. :/
  20. On the one hand, I agree that having a box of a product I already own is not very exciting. On the other hand, that a boxed copy is something that not only exists but will be on retail shelves means that RPG Maker is making bank here in the west, and that is definitely something worth being excited about.

So whoo! Congrats, folks. Here's to hoping this promo is a success.
