About quoting songs

Hello :)

I would really like to quote some songs in my projects; I don't mean the song itself as audio file, I just mean the lyrics or a part of them. But I am not sure about credits and legal obstacles: do I just need to report the song references in the credits or do I have to do something more?

Hmm, I'm not sure what the legal rules are either. I think it might be that if it's just a line it's fine, if it's above a certain amount you need credits and if you have the whole thing you'd need permission but I really don't remember.
