I've been working on my video game, Saving the Sunset, for about 250 hours. According to Steam, and I feel like I'm getting kind of sloppy with how I do things because I'm sick of working on it. Especially since I created a document to write all of my video game Ideas on, so I don't lose them while I'm working on this game. And I really want to work on some of those. But I don't want to abandon Saving the Sunset altogether. So I thought it would be fun to make some short games as a kind of hiatus. And I had this idea, where you would take a song, any song. And try to turn it into the plot of a video game. I feel like you could come up with some crazy ideas depending on how literally you take the lyrics.
For instance: Matt Costa's Behind the moon:
I would shine just like a million suns if you'd just love me baby
I'll be in your life again so baby, baby just say maybe
Now here I come
To dance around the sun
I've been oh so blue
Stuck behind the moon
Now let me in
Back where we begin
And let me hold you like the way
I used to do
The main character is a celestial being who was split in two, and is trying to find his other half in order to bring light, and life to the universe. He was imprisoned behind Earth's moon, and seeks to travel to the center of the universe, where he was born.
I don't know, I just wanted to share the idea. Comments, Questions?
A video game written from a song.

Sounds nice.
I actually always use music to get inspired when I work, a numerous portion of my character bio's have their root in song :) -
