A version of the official gacha plugin that works with actors rather than items?

I pretty much want a version of the official gacha plugin that lets it give actors instead of items. If this has already been done, can someone please point me to where I can find it, please? I'm trying to recreate Fire Emblem Heroes's sytems in RPG Maker MV, but this seems to be my only real roadblock right now (I have the battle systems figured out, but not the hero summoning mechanics...)

What if you made a normal gacha that gave out random items that can be used to add specific party members instead?

Just have a conditional that checks if you have the item and then add them in the party?
