Hey and hallo!
I'm known as Lucy Fox and I'm from Germany. (So please excuse my bad English xD)
Since nearly three years I'm using RPG-Maker XP and I'm very familiar with it.
My strengths are eventing and storytelling I think. Scripting is a thing I somehow understand, though I'm not able to practise it very well. (Too lazy to lern how all the classes work :| )
There are two demos I released in German forums. One of them even has an english translation of its first chapter. \o/
Yeah... well.... that's me.... : D
OK. What can be told about myself?
I really looove great stories. So it's probably obvious that I read a lot and have many games here in my room XD
I even used to write some stories by myself... some years ago. Now I'm more in making games.
At the moment I'm also learning C++ and try tro write a textadventure. (in english : D)
Well, I think this was the most important to know. Feel free to ask ; )
Oh, and I like Metal :rock-left:
Best regards (and praise the sun)
Lucy

If you want to focus on writing a text adventure, there are text adventure engines like TADS: http://www.tads.org/
So you won't need to write any code, but can focus on the text.
Welcome, Lucy! -
Welcome to the group! ^_^
Another writer? Great!
Unfortunately I can only read ones you write in English. The only German I know with any certainty is "Nein" meaning "No". :p -
@whitesphere: Thanks. Seems to be a great tool. Though I write this mainly to learn C++ (But maybe someday I try this : D )
@Cadh20000: I`m afraid I haven't wrote anything in english yet ._. (except that textadventure, but for now it only knows the words north, east, west and south xD)
Let me teach you another word. It's called "Ja" (means yes) \o/ -
Just remember to have fun and don't be afraid to ask questions. At least most of us don't bite! :p

Welcome to the Forums. I remember when a lot of the RPG Maker 2000 and 2003 stuff was really big in Germany. Infact I found those engines and a lot of resources through German sites back in the day.
If you really want to learn, and express yourself through games, much like I'm sure you do with writing, you can check out Ace Academy in my sig. -
I thought spanish sites are the most active ones. (I often end up on such when I'm searching for ressources or games)
First I have to learn to speak english better, before I try to write some stories or games in it xD -
You'll love it here as people are willing to help out. Welcome.
