Story Mode - To not drink is to die
Story Mode tells the tale of a girl named Mandy, a freshman in college, who after having yet another argument with her ex-fiance, suddenly finds herself lost in a world where the semi-human creatures she meets all insist she was newly created by a device they refer to as the "Spawn Symbol". Nobody seems to believe her when she tells them that she has memories of her past. How can she have been created when her memories of her life up to this point are so vivid? Mandy's search for answers in the mazelike Isterway Sanctuary grows increasingly urgent as she comes to learn that there is no drinkable water anywhere to be found. Will she ever leave this maze alive?
Meanwhile, a Bee soldier named Tyalinne is sent on a mission for her Hive to the same locale. Unknown to Tyalinne, her actions are being closely monitored by her companion under orders of their sovereign. But unknown to both of them, a third party is secretly monitoring them all, and Tyalinne's encounter with this third party--a mysterious person known as "Mistress of Moonlight"--will change the course of the world in the profoundest possible way.
Story scenes alternate with dungeon-crawling sequences as the plot surrounding these characters unfolds piece by piece. With friendly help screens that teach how to play the game, Story Mode (which begins by default) is recommended to be played before Survival Mode.
Note: The story includes some mature themes.
Survival Mode - A war of all against all
Survival Mode is geared for experienced players and, unlike Story Mode, features permanent death. Choose from one of the characters appearing in Story Mode to play as and delve into the dungeon to try to locate a certain somebody. There are a total of five playable characters, two of which are unlocked by completing Story Mode, and two which are unlocked by attaining a given score in Survival Mode.
Neither attacking blindly nor constantly running away will serve you all that well in Survival Mode. Staying alive will depend on playing to the strengths of your character, and smart frequent use of the many items to be found scattered in every room. As you may not be able to identify each and every item you pick up before using them, a certain amount of risk-taking will be called for as well.
An additional feature for those who it may appeal to, is that the size of rooms, number of enemies, and number of items can be adjusted by editing the extras file.

Needless to say, the game system is custom-built, and you won't find another RM game like it. Hope you enjoy!
