8Bit Font For Commercial Use

Hi! I'm hoping someone could easily whip up an 8bit font to use in a commercial project. I'm unable to create one myself and free ones I found had confusing info on what it could be used for commercially.

I don't feel using the default font would look good in a 8bit/16bit game so It'd save me alot of trouble. You will be credited both in a text document and in the games credits AND a free copy of the game when it's released if you so choose to accept it.

I just released a game using an 8-bit font that's 100% free according to the license on DaFont (if you can't use a fontoon their site commercially it's marked "free for personal use" instead) and it works perfectly in the engine's default size. Find it here: https://www.dafont.com/onesize.font

There's also Orange Kid by Typodermic Fonts, inspired by Earthbound and used in Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight, which is also free for commercial use although it's narrower so it doesn't work as well, with some empty space here and there. I'd also look for fonts on itch.io, there are a lot of good fonts there, and many of them are free and available for commercial use. Hope that was of some use!

Ah, I didn't really do much besides point you at stuff done by more talented than me, so a free copy's not necessary! Just keep me updated on your game during development and point me towards the finished version, that's all I can ask cause I'm a sucker for retro RPGs, especially NES and SNES styled ones. I've spent a fair bit of time collecting links to various resources so if you need any more help finding stuff like tilesets, icons or sprites or whatever feel free to message me any time!
