Hello, I got RPG Maker 2003 just recently. I already have a story I wanna tell but I'm running into a problem. I need a forest dungeon, but as far as I can tell, there are no tree walls or ceilings like in VX Ace or MV. Does anyone have advice on making a forest dungeon, or have some kind of forest dungeon tileset they could share? Thanks for the support in advance.

There are a lot of free chipsets for RM2k/3 on internet. Just type FREE rpg maker 2003 forest chipset (the term tileset is not used for rmk2k/3) and voilà!
But you can also copy/paste the trees from the RTP in the dungeon chipset and make an improvised forest dungeon chipset. -

Just be careful. Most 2k3 tilesets are rips of commercial games and are actually illegal to use.
BTW, the resource requests forum is also where to go to find existing resources. I'm going to move this over where it's more likely to be seen by someone who knows where to find what you're looking for. -
The ORTP has some forest tiles, but you would have to bring them into the right format on your own:

(It's hard to find sources for old makers where you can be sure the tiles are not ripped, this is one of the few I know, be careful, only this thread is safe to use, they have rips in other threads!) -

This is a really important point. If you suspect that a certain chipset is a rip off, better stay in the safe side and don't use it. -

EDIT: Actually, with surprisingly little editing, the tree for 2k3 tiles quite nicely.

Love that tile, Sharm! It works great.
I took the Dungeon (RTP) from 2K3 and added Sharm's tree tiles and some other forest rtp tiles.
Hopefully this set can help you, LightDiviner.
But you'll have to set the passability and terrain type for the tiles in the database.
The default dungeon in 2K3 also has some vines in the upper layer, that you can place over walls :) .

It's not Chrono Trigger. Some of it is First Seed Material/Refmap if not all of it. I think it's legit.
