So freaking tempting. I asked a question in the comments but no reply yet, let's try it here:
I'm working on YANTH at the moment, I know that won't be possible to submit. There is however a standalone minigame (sub game?) that will be bundled with YANTH that stars the same main character. It hasn't been developed yet. Can that be submitted assuming development starts today and ends on the deadline?

I really enjoy competitions and I'm also glad about all the news regarding the Humble Bundle (already got mine + a gift one). This really sets me up for the mood and makes me want to take part on this one. It's great to see so much incentive, and I really hope that it can be a good excuse for people to try to finish a good game giving all the efforts!
Unfortunately for me I've already committed to someone's project. I wish everyone good luck with their entries and I will be around to help you test, refine, or assist anyway I can. For that much money, I think we can expect some pretty good things to come out of the next month.
Touchfuzzy and I are checking periodically for any questions you may have. Feel free to ask, no matter how trivial. This is a huge contest so we wanted to spell out everything in the rules, but there are always things that can be cleared up. We'll also keep expanding the FAQ with any common questions :)
Going to participate for PURE fun. I don't think i'm gonna win something with this project i have in development right now (the language is too rude, so much that i will have to make a "lite" version of it where i delete the bad vocabulary) but hey, as i said, this is for fun :)

I want to see what people is capable of make! :D
Shouldn't you make a new project from scratch to enter?
Preexisting projects are not eligible. You'll have to start a game from scratch. You can use preexisting assets (music, graphics, ideas) but the game itself (maps, cutscenes, battle system, etc.) must be made during the contest period.
