  1. Hello everyone!

I have been wanting to make an old style 8 or 16 bit rpg for quite a while now. i've looked through a majority of the resource pages and i have found sharms tiny16 set but not much was there. So, i would like to see if anyone has already, or is looking to make these resources. If i may have missed a topic or two for resources that have what im looking for i'd like to be directed there. if not, i can work out some kind of trade/deal with those who wish to complete my request. I offer eventing/mapping/databasing assitance as a skill swap if you wish to do so.

    thank you for your time,

    Eugene Petrie
  2. For free, there's various sources all around the internet, but if you don't mind paying for stuff, check out the Graphics section of the shop.  There's quite a few resources available that are 8-bit/16-bit.

I personally own 3 out of 4 of those packs, but that'll change this months.  I'll be buying Pixel Myth: Germania soon.  They are all great and have their own style to them, but are wonderful for 16-bit games and the old school modern is great for 8-bit Gameboy Color-esque games.  Hope this helps a bit.  Also, for free stuff, check out Grandma Deb's lists.  They are quite comprehensive and well maintained.
  3. ok, i like the DS packs but alas i cannot buy them for i am broke. :( But, if you know of any threads here that i should look for i'd be happy to check them. i sat here for a couple of hours earlier searching through the threads but only found sharms tiny16. i need more than that.
  4. Flare_Fox: Have you checked out OpenGameArt? Liberated Pixel Cup assets fit with 16-bit very well.
  5. Sure she posted them on her thread, too, but in the Restaff are much more tiles e.g. the stuff by Schnecke/Snail ;>
  6. Sorry, didn't download it so I missed that.  Awesome!  (quitely fixes the pronoun used for Crazy_Leen.)
  7. I love Crazy_Leen's resources.

Sorry, it looks like every other user posted resources that were relevant. I'll stick to my own threads from now on.
  11. The biggest issue is that the original poster was looking for these resources over 3 years ago. So, it’s likely no longer relevant. This is why we ask members not to necropost (post in a thread older than 30 days) in certain forums.

And why I’m licking thus thread - to prevent further replies.
